Before You Schedule:

Schedule your appointment with me. (Make sure you include your address and designated parking spot information for home visits).
After payment is completed, an intake form will be sent to you via email. This MUST be completed the day before our appointment, or we will need to reschedule.
If possible, please try to plan a feeding during our appointment so I can observe and assess the baby at the breast.
Write down any questions or concerns you have before the visit, that way we can make sure to go over all of them.
Rescheduling or Canceling Appointments. I understand things do happen, so if you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for 24 hours' notice. That way I can rearrange my schedule and childcare.
DON'T STRESS OVER THE HOUSE! First and foremost, I am a mom myself with two tiny tornadoes. Whether I am coming to your house personally or virtually, do not feel like you have to tidy up for my visit.

While anyone can call themselves a lactation consultant, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is a professional in lactation who has undergone significant training in both the science and psychology of breastfeeding and human lactation, completed 1,000 clinical hours working with breastfeeding couplets, and have passed an international board exam.

Unfortunately I am unable to accept insurance at this time. But if your insurance does cover lactation especially overseas, I can give you a suberbill to submit to them for reimbursement.
